What to do at the side of the bath panel?

Hi guys, I was going to tile to the side of the bath panel but as the panel is a snug fit (box at the end of the bath and is a corner bath), I was thinking it may be hard to remove the panel if I do so.

What do people normally do? Just silicone the side of the bath and paint the wall there?

Seal it and put a washing basket there to hide it. It looks like a conventional long bath has been removed for that purpose

I would cut the tiles around it and tile it in. Keep some spares in case you have to break them to get the panel out. My thinking is - better to look properly done all of the time, than look c@#p all the time in the ' maybe' chance the panel has to come off.
( I would also remove that tile with the damaged edge along its full length)
