Hiya,
I have a bit of a 'different' idea re tiling my bath panel.
Basically, we have not tiled where they're not needed - pretty much everywhere but the bath and sink - so I don't think I can fully tile the bath panel as it won't look right as one end of the panel will be touching a wall which is not to be fully tiled.
What we will do though is have a tiled skirting, and this will continue on the bath panel, which obviously means about 75% of the bath panel won't be tiled - it will be painted the same colour as the walls.
So, what would be the best material to use for the panel - as the top won't be tiled it will need to be thick enough to sit flush with the edge of the bath.
Is this even a good idea? As I say I don't think tiling the whole panel would look good when it's butted up to a wall that only has tiled skirting.
