What kind of trowels do I need for interior plaster? I have drywall taping tools but all of the big trowels are curved. They wouldn't work for plastering or skim coating, would they?

it is lighter and springier than a similar tool used with concrete

some people also use internal and/or external corner trowels

I just bought a Marshalltown 14" x 4" trowel today at Home Depot, but I think it's for concrete and I'll have to bring it back. It's pretty stiff.

It's hard to find plaster and plaster tools around here (Brooklyn, NY, USA.) There is not much plastering being done around here.

I order my stuff direct from Marshalltown, they are quite cheap too. Don't forget a sponge float, many a time has it come in useful for me :)
