What way round should this shower seal fit?

As above. On bottom of the fixed glass (wall end) section of my shower screen, what way round should this seal fit - the longest flap with the hollowed out section on the bath side or the other way round? And should I put a good bead of clear silicon sealant on it before fitting?

First fixed panel on mine doesn't have wipers like yours, bottom is siliconed to to the bath with a stay on to the wall at the top.
The wiper is on the opening section

Thanks. If I didn’t have this seal, I’d have 5mm gap between the glass and the bath edge. Anyway, I’ve fitted it large side in and masticked everywhere!
