I have a filling loop similar to this one on my Vaillant boiler. Could anyone tell me what the round black cap on the non return valve does? My boiler can be topped up by just opening the one main tap but I knocked the round cap about a quarter turn by accident while topping up my boiler. Just wanted to know if I need to turn it back or whether I can leave it. Is it a safety cap?
