Where can I buy melamine/laminate sheet ?

Hello
Can anyone suggest where I can buy a small sheet approx 5ft x 2ft sheet of melamine sheet to make a surface waterproof. I think it is basically the same stuff that a kitchen counter/ worktop is surfaced with.

Normally you buy melamine already on a sheet of plywood, MDF etc. Might we ask what it is you want to do?

B&Q sell melamine covered wood.
600mm wide.
With or without full edging and in some stores you can get it cut down to your required size for free.

You can also try asking in your local woodyards, I know mine (Ashworths in Rossendale) used to do it but I have not been there for years.

Waterproof or splash proof?
Would a solid plastic not be suitable?

We used to buy faced ply and buffalo board.
Buffalo is used in truck and trailer bases.
You still need to worry about edges.
