We have an Indesit D3000WG dishwasher which is tripping the electrics because allowing too much water in.
This started after I'd been tipping it on its side several times to clean out parts underneath.
Logically this seems linked to the float switch sticking or malfunctioning. However,on this model it's not at all obvious where the switch might be. There is nothing to unscrew or dismantle from the inside .
Any ideas welcome !

Float switch is under the base tray. 3 screws on each side and pull off. Its a bit of polystyrene with a micro switch on it. My guess is water has got into the circulation pump or low insulation on the wash Heater.

thanks for that rocks1,I'll have another look when I get a moment. I haven't investigated the circulation pump yet.
To give more detail once the machine has finished its cycle completely and stopped then after an hour or more it is slowly filling with water again in the base, but it's a very slow filling up.
It's then that it will trip if you try to turn it on ,unless the timer dial happens to be initiating the drain pump. If you happen to be around when the full cycle finishes you can turn the water supply off which gets round the problem but obviously not very practical.
When operating you can hear the water inlet valve opening at the correct times so that doesn't seem to be the problem.
I originally moved the machine outside to clean the bottom out etc and as not connected to its own water supply ,filled the bottom with the garden hose to test it and no doubt overfilling it. So you think water in pump rater than a float switch problem ?
