Where is my filling loop??

Hiya, no matter where I look I cannot locate my boiler filling loop. I cant find a gauge of any form, which isn't helpful. I need to make sure my pressure is correct, but I have no idea where to look for this. I've looked on the boiler itself, however it doesn't have any actual icons on the boiler front and I'm not sure what I'm looking at when I go to the cylinder.
Any help would be extremely appreciated

I don’t think you have one, it looks like you might have an open vented system. Why do you need to make sure your pressure is correct - do you have an issue?

I just wanted to check my pressure, as I recently did my pressure on my radiators and bled them, so am thinking that the boiler would have likely lost pressure during this, as here was a lot of air build up..

If it’s open vented, without a filling loop, you’ll have a feed and expansion cistern, which automatically replenishes the water if the float valve is operational.

Neither do I

Go in the loft. Take two torches (one in your pocket so you cannot drop it) and your mobile phone in your pocket. Look for a small water tank.

Probably rectangular black plastic

About 50cm x 30cm x 40cm

With a large copper pipe hanging over it

Take the lid off

There is probably a ball valve inside like in a WC cistern.

1) how deep is the water?

2) is it warm?

3) how deep, and what colour, is the mud? (Don't stir it up)

4) Press the ball float down. Does water run out?
