Where to find a mixer tap for a 2 hole basin

Hi

Is there anywhere to find a add a mixer tap to a 2 hole basin.

I looked on B&Qs website as a previous post stated, but didn't find any there. Why are they so difficult to get?

I had to look that one up as I honestly thought you were taking the ****!!!

Difficult to get because of the distance between the tap holes has no standard as there is for sinks and baths

You might be able to fit a single hole basin mixer to one of the existing holes, closing up the other one. I've just done this. It was a tight fit, but worked fine, including rod for the pop-up waste.

do you think a mixer tap would fit in the whole of the 2-taps basin?
is it easy then to connect it to the hot and cold water?

I've got the same situation and thought of doing it my self.
