Where's the logic in that?

Warden tickets vehicles in driveways...

It is said he thought all the houses were Council houses, but even so, it's a bit of a stretch.....

I've heard of people getting tickets if the vehicle protrudes onto the public footpath, however this story just seems absurd.

Mind you, incompetent local councils need to find whatever ways they can to extract £££ from the public.

So they can trespass to issue a ticket?
Does a postman trespass to deliver mail?
We had a guy at work who had a parking permit from the council. When he got a new van the council had to give him a reference number to put in his windscreen before they could issue a new permit. He had a few tickets with it in the windscreen, seemed the wardens were unable to understand the wording of it.

Couple of Crescents away (dead posh round ere) two houses with shared drive, one took out a contract with a parking company because the old timer next door sometimes transgressed the boundary, regular visits from some **** with a camera taking pics of the crime.

No. There is an implicit invitation to provide a service. Do we get the police coming uninvited onto our property to check our tyres? It's a legal requirement in England and Wales for a bike to have brakes. Can a copper go round the back, check and book you?

Councils for you devoid of common sense

That’s how they get a job with the council

I had ticket the other day working in some house warden thought I was going to move up the road into a car park

Basically told him to go and do one
Cost of ticket go’s on the job so you can crack on
