Hi all, been looking at a new circular saw, for years ive always suffered with my straight edge and grips cutting sheets of ply for various jobs, ie marking my straight line measuring back 31mm for saw edge blah blah.

First of all, does bigger blade mean more teeth and finer cut, i was looking at a Dewalt Cordless circular but was only 165mm blade.

To get to the point i want a Circular or Plunge saw preferably cordless and with a track or guide with a square edge(t guide so i butt it up to my square edge and know it's parallel) Im building a large timber gym and want to be able to cut alot of ply sheets easily and quickly. Like the big racks they have in BnQ etc.

I narrowed it down to this

http://www.hobuk.co.uk/acatalog/DeWalt-DWS520K-Plunge-Saw.html

or this

http://www.festool.co.uk/artikel/ar...EN=18529196&jsessionid=2a30cb445962543115f2TR

Seems i can't get a good cordless system unless someone can recommend something else, these dont seem to have a "square edge guid" Dont understand why. Trying to order for tomorrow morn so appreciate a prompt response

if you are doing all that cutting, forget a cordless. It will struggle
