Hello,
I am replacing the key switch ( photo attached) on a ride on mower. I have bought this one which seems good quality but instead of letters by the connectors on the back which I was expecting there are numbers.
It is a three position switch OFF, ON and full turn to the right which springs back to second (ON) position that would activate the starter motor/solenoid I guess.
From looking at this photo can someone tell me which connector is which and which number might correspond to which letter? I have marked on photo what numbers they are.
Thanks in advance

The new ignition is not made for the mower it is a universal one. Normally they have letters, this one does not. Thanks

You got a multimeter? Meter through all possible combinations with the key in each position (don't neglect OFF, if its magneto ignition then switching off may be making a circuit not breaking one).Draw up a table, enter the results, you'll soon work it out (or post it here)

That is a generic switch for a diesel engine.
NO 1 + feed in
NO 2 Ignition Connection
NO 3 Heater plug connection
NO 4 Starter connection
