Apologies if im in the wrong forum.
Im currently converting my garage into a gym, i've made some dip bars (20' long with a 6' mounting plate, planning on putting a hole in the top and btm of each plate) at work to mount onto the wall but im unsure what fixings to use.
Things to consider - They must be able to take 13 stone of weight and because my garage is in a block the walls are one brick thick, so i don't want to end up drilling into next doors garage. The only fixings in my toolbox that are possibilities are some 12mm x 40mm floor bolts but as they are designed for use with concrete the bricks may crack?yes/no?
Anyway any help would be appreciated thank you.
