And I still think you should involve a professional gate installer - you may not be installing the kit yourself, but it is still, essentially, a DIY product, and the responsibilities and liabilities are serious. I doubt that any thinking, responsible, electrician would want to take it on if he didn't already have experience and expertise and was being asked to have a go on the basis of just reading "The Gate Safety Guide runs through the hazards, and outlines a code of practice". Might not be covered by the usual PLI an electrician would have anyway.

OOI, would you attempt to use a single 200m cable, or would you have 3 or 4 sections with a joint at each access point?

For the SWA, several pieces with joins at each box. That could also be used to provide power for other items such as driveway lighting which would probably be required - and even if not required immediately, a joint at each box will make it simple to add extra items at a later date.

Boxes or not, pulling in a single cable weighing 140kg really isn't something anyone should be doing.

For the other signal cables, probably a single piece, as they would be substantially smaller and lighter.
