I have a wetroom to plumb and tile on a solid floor new build.
Although a fairly experienced tiler, this a first for me.
There look to be several ways of doing it,and I would like some advice please.
Do I need a tiling board on floor and walls-the waterproof boards look the best?
If waterproof boards are used do I need to tank?
Do you use normal anti fungal grout everywhere-also,if I use epoxy grout does this alter the tanking/waterproof board requirement.( I have done quite a lot of epoxy grouting so I'm familiar with it).
What is the best system to create the tray?My customer has been advised that a low profile tray embedded in the screed is a good way to go (this by the builders merchant)-but she is concerned about the installation being non-slip-though there are non slip trays available...
Any advice much appreciated.
