I have always thought that the olympics should be held permantly in Greece where they originated.
Modern olympics don't even break even and we are left with useless infastructre and facilities that no one uses. Surely it would be more cost effective to reuse an olympic venue over and over again and if all countries contributed then it wouldn't be a drain on any one country.
Think of it in terms of the FA cup always played at Wembley or would that be any better being moved around the country every season?
