hi i am going to brick up a window in my home the question is i will brick up the outside and use blocks on the inside.do i put anything in the void in between.cheers
Ideally you want to match the existing cavity wall insulation if possible. If you use rigid board like kingspan it must be pinned against the internal wall as jono suggested.
Remember to open the cavity back up at the reveals and really you should consider toothing out a few block on the inside for a better job. Also as mentioned use ties.
