Window Lock Broken?

Hello,

1 of our windows won't lock anymore,the key turns halfway but you can still press the button in to open the window.

Is this fixable or is it a case of buying a new handle & lock?

I would take a look here, it's a doddle to change them over not worth messing about. What if you get it to lock and then need to open in an emergency penny to a pound that's when it sticks again

Sounds more like a faulty handle rather than the main locking mechanism, as above a doddle to change easy diy
