When I redone the kitchen with panelling, (cheap and cheerfull but its my 1st house so needed to be) I panelled over a window that is visible from the living room.

Now that I am thinking of starting the living room, should I bother taking the window out or take the frame off and somehow fill in to the just below the wall depth and then plaster over.

What would be the best way to fill it in??

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Fix a couple of bits of batten and plasterboard over it, would probably be the easiest and quickest way.
