I have been using Crown non-drip satinwood paint for the woodwork in the house, but have noticed that it is not resilient to being wiped too many times - mainly on the sharp edges of the architrave and skirtings. This paint is water based as the wife gets a headache with the oil based paint and it doesn't yellow so quickly.

I need to set about some decorating so would like to look at other makes / finishes. We like the satin finish but is there a recommendation for something harder wearing?

The Pros will be along to answer no doubt but I've been using Dulux Trade Satinwood no problems for years, seems pretty durable and goes on nicely.
