Yes you will need to use the HUD/MED-WE and the receiver need to be at least v4.03 (ive just checked)

I believe it’s just a N/C pair from output B to your desired zone

So finally got around to trying to wire the UR2-WE, I have connected the 12v input but there doesn't seem to be any life. Is there something else that needs to be done. I expected the led digit to light in one form or another. Do I need this jumper. It doesn't seem to be in the box?

The black jumper enables/disable the tamper micro switch on the UR2.
The red/green padlock is start input for arm /disarm.
When you connect 12v does the LED segment light up when you learn devices.
