All,
Having to replace the battery on the wireless siren of our Visonic MaxPower. It's a 3.6v lithium battery with a connector and two cables running off the terminals. Looks like I can buy the battery with connector etc. for about £20 online, or just the battery for about £3!
Can I reuse the cabling on a replacement battery, or should I replace the whole thing? It looks like the tabs are spot-welded to the terminals, but plenty of spare metal to break off and solder onto a new cell - is this feasible? I've attached a photo for info.
