You are not qualified to give them what they want because you have not spent 40 years working on alarms.
There are lots of other factors you and the customer have not taken into account and they should not be permtted to have an alarm that can be bought for £200 or less.
The Police and Military where needed.
I wasn't referring to you.Errrrrrrr this one.

wireless = batterys = weak point, wired for me.
Pull the house bits and you can't take it with you. Your mobile has batteries doesn't it?
So why is it a weak point?wireless = batterys = weak point, wired for me.

Not sure about that.I think you guys are missing out on a massively growing market - the rental market. Your alarm goes with you when you leave.

Tenant buys alarm, pays for install. Then moves to new home and wants to take system with them. Would they be willing to pay for it removing and reinstalling? Very much doubt it.

In general, they wouldn't. Those that did would want silly cheap prices. Not worth the hassle. Not sure about that.I think you guys are missing out on a massively growing market - the rental market. Your alarm goes with you when you leave.

They would a wireless alarm. Better than buying a new one wherever they go.
