Just to add maybe more confusion...
Did you do a 'hard' reset on your router?Is there a hole to push a something like a pin in that has 'reset' above it?
If you have pushed this then you may have to go into the router settings and restore them to time zones,location etc.
To be able to do this,put your ethernet cable from your pc stright into the router(if you have one)and configure that way.
You may not be able to get into the router settings wirelessy.
