can anyone supply wiring diagram for y plan without room stat
have boiler/cylinder stat/pump/3 way mid pos valve/trv,s plus t/rail with std rad valves.rebuilt system but not sure about rewiring-am using wiring box
Take no notice of kevplumb, he's just too helpful Put a room stat in and save yourself fuel. This will stop the boiler short cycling. Don't know what this is? It's all on the honeywell site. The room stat also saves the boiler shagging itself to death.
I saw it this morning, but didn't notice the outdoor. Is that so he can gas himself in the loft, or so he can sit on the patio like PaulAH and complain of the smell?
THANKS GUYS BUT DONT UNDERSTAND LINK IN WIRING BOX KEV
ALSO WITH TRV,S ON ALL RADS EXCEPT TOWEL RAIL [SYSTEM ALSO HAS BYPASS FITTED] DO I STILL NEED A ROOM STAT? IF SO WHERE WOULD YOU SITE IT? HELP PLEASE YOU GUYS.
Heating is no a controlled service covered by the building regs, so you have to fit a room stat on new work. Best place to put it is a cooler place like the hall way. It's associated rad should not have a TRV.
1 DONT SHOUT
2 why not fit a stat as you obviously cant work out how not to as oilman says it will save you money
3 usually in the hall but take the trv off or leave it at max
4 you can get wireless stats if you dont want to start hacking walls
