Wiring downlights from existing ceiling rose

Want to add 4 mains downlights in our bathroom which currently has a ceiling rose wired like so:

Can I simply run flex from the existing rose to the downlights?

ie:

thats a tricky one! you can connect lights as you say but you have to be careful were you site them because its in a bathroom and electric and water don,t go well together.
firstly you would be better with low voltage lights (transformer type) and ask the supplier for advice on which ip (water tightness)rating the lights need to be.(enclosed type with a rubber seal as an example) look at this link http://www.stopbox.co.uk/site/bathroom-lights-ip.htm
