Wiring my Salus RF room stat

Hi, I am trying to wire my Salasu room stat to my Vaillant boiler. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but it makes no difference to the heating coming on or off. Would appreciate any help.

your wiring is not correct but will work, you have a small red link in the pcb terminals of the boiler marked 24v switching, remove that link and your Salus will work

Thanks for the reply. I can't see the link you're talking about. I have taken a picture of the whole board. Any chance you could point it out please?
