Was hoping I could replace a bathroom fan, but I'm not sure how to connect up, see attached pictures. In the first pic of the old fan there is a bare wire behind the blue wire but it's not connected to anything. This fan hasn't worked since I bought the house a couple years ago, there is a separate switch for this on the outside of the bathroom, I'm presuming it's connected to the bathroom light as it's just a timer version. Think I may have to bite the bullet and get a sparky in though!
