Whatever you do - don't undo the old wiring until you have photographed, drawn or marked the wires in situ. If you have already undone the wires then welcome to the world of the multi-meter.

Is it a ceiling rose you are replacing?

You do not need to email a picture. Go to the tab at the top marked "media", create an album and upload the pix to there.

We could do with a photograph of the other side showing the wiring connections as well. But from the photograph you have shown you appear to have three (Live - red sleeve) 2 neutrals (No sleeve) and a switch live (Grey sleeve) and NO Earth.
If the new light is metal and not class 2 then you will need to find an earth.

What are the connections for the new light? If they are simply live, neutral, earth and switch live then wire as outlined above.

Riveralt is spot on, I reckon.

It looks like pyro cable.

I suspect this is a 60s purpose built flat?

There should be a metal pot box in the ceiling, which should hopefully provide the earth.

As said, a photo of the ends of the wires (hopefully still connected) should confirm a few things.
