I am looking at the picture in the Sticky area for wiring 2 and 3 way switches. Forgive me for seming dumb, but I can see the cable from the lighting ring and the cables between the switches, but where is the cable to the lights?

The red and black wires marked circuit cable are the live and switched live dropping down from the ceiling rose, as per the standard one-way switch...

The cable you speak of as being from the lighting ring (lights are wired on a radial not a ring btw), is actually the switch cable from a three plate system which is also detailed in a separate diagram in the sticky

Assuming you are looking at my pictures, they are of a ceiling rose and pendent drop. The lamp holder is marked, and is show with brown and blue cable.

If it was wired with a joint box instead, you would replace the brown and blue in the picture with the red and black of a twin and earth cable.

........bear in mind colours have since changed!!
