Wiring up a Sanicondens Plus to a Vaillant Ecotech Plus?

Just wire it into a fused spur. It looks like it needs its own supply (not wired into the boiler).

He has already told you all you need to do is connect it to a 13A mains plug/socket but with a 3A fuse in the plug top.

Most of the better pumps like this have an over level switch which can be used to inhibit the boiler if the level is too high.

Sorry, Tony. Where do I take the alarm wires to?

Edit: These are the instructions to the Alarm

SANICONDENS PLUS is fitted with a detection system that can trigger an alarm if the water level rises too high (audible of visual alarm, 1.5V to 230V)

1 - Brown Wire: Shared Wire
2 - Black Wire: Normally Off
3 - Blue Wire: Normally On

To fit the alarm, connect the blue and brown wires of the alarm to the respective terminals on the SANICONDENS Plus.

(Optional) If you connect the brown and black wires to the control relays on your boiler, it will be switched off if the water level rises too high in the unit.

(Attention) The maximum current admissible for our detection system is 0.5A

To protect the electrical components in the SANICONDENS Plus, once the alarm has been triggered, any water continuing to fill the tank comes out through the overflow outlets in the cover.

(Didn't mean to cause any misunderstandings. Thanks for your help, guys)

I see now. You want to wire the sani's alarm into your boiler, to turn boiler off if sani overflows.

I don't know the answer, perhaps one of the Vaillant experts on here might. Or perhaps contact Vaillant.

the alarm wires should be wired in series with supply. So probably do that in a seperate wiring box not on the boiler or just dont bother, its only in case it breaks in which case you'll know cos there will be water underneath it :D
