Wiring

Hi People

I am just about to move house and want to start doing simple jobs rather than spending a fortune calling people out.

Trouble is I am worried that it will go wrong.

Are there any good books with clear and detailed diagrams that will help.

Got some out of the library but they are not detailed enough.

Thinking about adding outside lights and sockets etc, maybe linking in from the garage.

I always found 'wiring and lighting' by Mike Lawrence quite useful when I started doing little jobs, bearing in mind that I'm not a qualified sparks!

There's some good info in the Reference section . When you go into the Electrics UK forum, 2nd topic from top - theres about 60 posts .
