with Electric prices to rise...

Lost count the number of times I have been taking a dump in the office stall when the lights go out.
I end up jumping up and waving my hands about like a mad man to get the bloody lights back on then
Buy a disposable lighter.

Cheap as chips, and generate a lot of IR.

With me I'd me worrried about the LEL of generated gases in there.

They are heavier than air. If there were enough to have formed an explosive mix well over a m above the floor you'd have more important things to worry about than the lights going out.... ;)

I thought Martin was a heavy propane drinker - might be wrong.

I also thought methane was denser than air - might be wrong about that too....

No, it's very light (one of the reasons why it's a problem 'greenhouse gas') - CH4 means a vapor density (another 'VD'!) of only 8 - hence only just over half the density of air (VD about 14.4).

Kind Regards, John

I have a PIR switch in my hallway. (override, where they cannot reach it!!)
Once I got the timer on it to the time I wanted its great. Stops me shouting at the children all the time to turn it kin off:D
