Hi all,

We have an old cottage which has rounghly rendered walls in the lounge. There are no straight walls and I could not fit skirting board to it which is why we had carpet fitted. The carpet is getting old and with two little ones it is getting stained.

My wife now wants a wooden floor. Does anyone have any advice on how to fit this up to "wavy" walls with no skirting??? Or should I just tell her no!

It depends how wavy the wall is, if it's not too bad, you could use a wide square edge profile, fit the tracking square into the floor, scribe and trim the profile to the wall and clip it in place.
