Hi,
Boiler is being replaced and in preparation I am carrying out some wall work. In doing so, I am in a good position to relocated pipework and so on. System is Honeywell Y plan.
My question iswhether the existing 5 wire pvc cable that's connected to the original boiler can be reused for the new Worcester 12RI? The old system was a Myson Apollo 30b which had a pump overrun facility. According to the Worcester manual, the boiler wants Mains L+N+E, Pump L+N and switched live, yet the old boiler had Mains L+N+E, Pump L and switched live. Pump N on the current system is wired into the wiring centre backplate. My concern is that there will be electronics in the Worcester that'll detect Pump N us not connected and therefore prevent overrun from operating.
Many Thanks,
Ben.
