Worcester 532/i pressure

Hi,

I have a Worcester 532/i, and for a while, some of the upstairs radiators aren't getting hot all the way to the top. But when I try to bleed them, not much air comes out and no sign of water at all.

So, I figured that maybe it needed repressurising. I'd never really looked at the gauge before, but that was reading below 1. But after about 30 seconds of letting the water flow, there was no movement on the needle.

So, I started think that the gauge might be broken, but I did think it went up a little bit after the heating had been back on a while, and the boiler did seem a little quieter.

Could the pressure be so low, that it might need a minute or 2 of repressuring? It's a long house and there's a radiator in the loft, so there's 3 floors. I'm just a bit concerned about making the pressure too high if the needle is wrong.

If the radiators are still not giving water from the air bleed valves ,the system needs more water. So continue using the filling loop to add water until they do.

When you opened the valve, did you hear the water flow?

As above, best if you inspected the digital pressure reading on the boiler, check your manual on how to do this or post your boiler model.
