Hi could anyone recommend which wireless room thermostat would be the best to use on this boiler? There's never been any room stat on this system.

Choose which one you like, they will all wire/connect in the same.

The Honeywell CM927 is one of the easiest to use at present.

When you fit the CM927 remove the existing programmer.

What about the cheaper Salus RT500 RF

or

Drayton Digistat 2+

or

Drayton Digistat 3+

Honeywell CM 927 is excellent, I've had one now for about two years also had the previous version which wasn't so good with poor back light and fiddly buttons but the new one is top notch.

I reccomended them all the time although if I'm installing a WB boiler I go with the DT10 RF which is covered for five years warranty along with the boiler and it also times the hot water pre-heat on the boiler.

DT10 RF is no use with the WB 240 though.
