i know the last Valliant I fitted had a plastic outer but it was a ecomax and that was 3 years ago.

i know biasi are updating the m110 with a Isothermic HX next year, i wonder if a lot of manufacturers are moving to Isothermic HX to get 1% or what ever it is out of the boiler.

I expect that Vaillant, Halstead and some others are taking the plastic outer part because its cheaper to buy.

Nice to see that I am mostly agreed to be right though Dave.

Obviously the manufacturers hardly shout about using the plastic parts!
