You get FA fault on these if it is....

Plus you'd smell it when you took the cover off you naughty boy

I've been away from this board for a while, but thought since I was asking Q's in other categories, would update on the resolution to this thread.

It turned out to be a faulty internal gas valve within the boiler itself. No fault codes on the panel as other suggested there should be. The engineer said it was so bad on pressure testing, he had to temporaily isolate the meter until the new part was fitted.

Have had no more explosive ignition problems since..
