Worcester Danesmoor 15/19 oil boiler with Danfoss BFP41L3 - ran out of oil

Boiler is thankfully now working. A lot of air came out and the initial oil was a crappy colour. Even if I'd managed to bleed the pump it wouldn't have worked without intervention and the pressure had been set far to high by the guy that used to service the boiler. Thanks for all the advice I've received here. I appreciate your time.
