Country
United Kingdom
Surely we have a right to expect that from MP's

http://hansard.millbanksystems.com/commons/1940/may/13/his-majestys-government-1

An historical example of when parliament was completely United all 'Aye's'not one 'Noe'.

The result of the referendum was that Britain should extricate itself from the bonds of the EU, the democratic process revealed a result that was suprising to some. The democratic result was OUT. PERIOD.

All members of parliament should be United in carrying out the will of the nation irrespective of their personal opinion. They should be United in striving carry out the will of the people and getting the best result for the country.

The people voted out, rather than being bitter and angry about the result of the vote surely MP's should be striving to make it work for the benefit if the country ? In or out has been decided.

The question of In or Out has been answered all that remains is to get on with it..........irrespective of the few waves that come along .....was it unexpected that there would economic problems ? No it was expected ....but the majority wanted out ...........thats OUT! come what may ! (pun unintended).

PARLIMENT GET ON WITH IT.

the democratic result was almost, but not quite, 50:50. What did the Quitters vote for? Free access to the single market, like Boris and Gove said? £350m a week extra for the NHS? Continuing to obey regulations that we don't have a vote for? Continuing to pay the EU for access? Being poorer?

It's a strange thing when you vote for something but you don't know what it is, and you end up with something you didn't want.

Not a recipe for consensus and agreement, by any means.

I wonder which of the four available options gasbag thought he was voting for? Like all Quitters, he won't tell us.

But for government lies and deceit the leave majority would have been much higher.

That said ... "leave" won the day.
Yeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Suck it up loser.

Thanks to Quitters' lies and deceit, the "leavers" had a tiny majority

Yet the poor old Quitters aren't happy, they're constantly moaning.

It's a funny thing that the "winners" are the whiners.

Au contraire, Rog.
I think if that sodding bus of lies had never made an appearance, the remainers would have won.
And the leavers would now be moaning.

If you had a referendum on how many based their vote on the bus it would be less than a thousand.
It gives whinging remoaners some comfort to think that it had some effect.

What ?? is every one now saying that this 350 million / bus caper was a porkie pie

nah your all joking ;) are'nt you :confused:o_O

Predictable as ever; nothing new to say, so roll out the red bus. Both side lied, get over it.

Sorry Securespark, but it was Osbornes attempts to frighten the public that caused the vote to swing toward leave, not the red bus. The £350m had been proved wrong well before the vote, so no one was taken in by it; and I would say, that if anything, they'd have got more votes if they hadn't put such a high figure on it, and then had to justify it.

People want honesty, not lies, and I wonder what the real vote would have been if both sides had been factual with the truth.

And that's exactly what I've been saying about the experts predictions all along.

So, seventeen million people voted for -

a leap in the dark just believing that would be better,

or because they don't like foreigners,

and/or despite the fact they didn't have a clue what it was about.

And than the remain campaign played there ace card ;)

Barrack Obama President of the U.S.A . The U.S.A being our closest allie ;) a country that we have fought alongside in 2 WW , in korea , Ahfaganistan

syria , Iraq etc ect

who turns up in the U.K and tells us we will be at the back of any trade deal  yep that did the trick ;) virtually threatened by our closest allie

Yes; isn't that how most business's get started.

or because they don't like foreigners,
Some definitely did, but the majority only voted for immigration controls

and/or despite the fact they didn't have a clue what it was about.
That was applicable to both sides. I suspect a lot of people would have voted a different way if there had been a more informed debate.
