Speak to any American chippy and worm-drive saws (i.e. Skilsaws) are the next best thing to a threesome with the Minogue sisters, but no-one seems to import them or make them for the UK or Europe - what's up with that? Any reason why not?
It's a circle saw with the motor driving the blade through 90 degrees, so the motor is in-line with the saw. Slower turning blade but more torque and a compact design, also a lot easier for a lefty like me to use.
I first seen that type of Saw used on an old episode of this old house they are quite popular over in the states.
Might be worth importing one and running it off a site transformer.
Hmn. Saw a lad using one of those the other year. Thought it was pretty odd looking, and the way he used it was different.. didn't know it had a special motor.. he had got his from the States.
