I find it scary that someone would go to such lengths to give me my own poll...I think that they are stalking me... I must admit that I haven't yet noticed anyone following me around whilst they wear a droopy "Pornstar" moustache, beard and a hounds tooth pattern tea towel on their head .. Perhaps I'm just not that observant..

If I do though, I shall offer them a bite of my bacon sandwich...

Typical you've missed the point of the vindictive poll and are concentrating on replies wake up if you can let a spiteful post slide, but give your attention to similarities of the replies you live in a little blinkered world. What's the real issue nastiness or similar responses ?

I did not miss the point of the vindictive poll or let it slide because at the time of posting, I hadn't even read it. Now that I have, I cannot but agree with you. Discussions can and do often end in abuse. And while F & I does play a significant part in that abuse, he is not alone and in my opinion should not have been singled out in what otherwise could have been an interesting poll. Others may disagree.

As I explained in another reply in another thread, this was because I found the replies posted by yourself and F & I were so strikingly alike that I felt that I had to comment. Again, others may disagree.

Gasbanni, like me, others may be wondering why you should be up in arms over a poll that really has nothing to do with you apart from giving you the opportunity to vote. Now I would understand if you told Himaggin that you thought that the addition of F&I to the list was unworthy of him or words to that effect. And I would agree with you! But why are you taking it upon yourself to be the defender of someone like F&I who is more than capable of defending himself.

My apologies if you were offended, bolo. It was an amendment to a poll that had been around for over a month in its original form.
Following the excessive amount of abusive content by F&I, I amended the poll, as a joke, and I added a 'wink' emoticon to indicate that.

Why all the fuss by gasbanni, I've no idea, because F&I stated that he felt complimented by the addition of his pseudonym to the poll.
I did offer to apologise to gasbanni if he felt offended, but he also stated that he wasn't offended.
So having quoted one line form Shakespeare I guess you could guess which other line I'm going to quote. Yes you've guessed it, "Much ado about nothing"

I am not offended. Rather I am disappointed that the outcome of a poll posted seriously, became flawed with the addition of 'your joke'. In my opinion F&I has every right to be offended, but if he isn't, the matter should end there. At the same time gasbanni and every other member here who feels the same way, have the right to say, "I object" to the F&I addition to your poll.

Yes your right really, F&I is quite capable of defending himself, I think probably I found the post irritating and out of order because of what it told me about the poster. That essentially he's a bit of a hypocrite in that he trys to make out he's a fair minded individual but he's exactly the opposite and later amending the post to try and lighten it is even more of a giveaway.
I could copy a letter from a chief constable thanking me for my public spirited action ( if I can find it ! Put it safe but cant remember where) showing I don't just look the other way.
Just couldn't reman silent about a bad post. It appears to be disliked anyway !
