I'm wanting to extend 2.5mm T+E outside in garden. Would cold pour straight joint kit from screwfix do the job? How reliable are these as i've not used them before?

How is the T&E installed? What is it for? Is it worth replacing the T&E with something more robust like SWA? Are you a member of a competent person scheme (re Part P)?

T+E is in conduit feeding a pump, council are signing off part p as all work is part of extension. Its fed from 6A RCD

why not crimp and sleave it in a conduit throghh box? (obviously put gasket on box)

I take it as it is underground that you are using metallic conduit? Is it possible to pull a new length of cable through using the old one as a draw wire?
