Got a Triton easi fit + thermostatic 8.5kw shower from screwfix. Then took the front panel off. The inlet water swivel is replaced by this fixed plastic. My guess is I got the wrong unit. No idea how to install. Pic attached. Any ideas?
I've got (in Cork) a 9kW, Triton T80Z Fast-Fit, don't know if they are sold in the UK but very easy to install, maybe the easi-fit is its equivalent in the UK?.

The Core Difference: Easi-Fit vs. Fast-Fit
While both models are designed by Triton specifically to replace older, broken showers without requiring you to re-tile or alter your existing bathroom pipework, they handle internal plumbing and wiring setups slightly differently: [, 2]
Triton T80 Easi-Fit / Easi-Fit+: Features Triton's specialized Swivel-Fit™ water inlet (a 180° fully reversible internal elbow that pivots to connect easily to pipes coming from either the left or right side) and a Swing-Fit™ terminal block that moves to accept electrical cables from either side. It is widely available at major national UK trade retailers like Screwfix and Toolstation. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Triton T80Z Fast-Fit: Utilizes a slightly alternative internal footprint featuring 8 dedicated water entry points and 6 distinct cable entry points spread across the left, right, top, bottom, and rear of the casing. [1]
Which one replaces what?
If you are replacing an old Triton T80si, T80xr, or standard T80z, Triton lists the T80 Easi-Fit line as the optimal, closest direct-fit replacement currently on the UK market. [1]
