I swapped a used (in use) Triton T80 Easi-Fit 8.5kW for a Thermostatic equivalent. Said Triton Easi-Fit was bought from Screwfix but it's beyond the 30 days return period and the pump is wet. Is there a way I can either return the item to either Screwfix or the manufacturer Triton or dry out the pump (unscrew?) then put into storage?
I've got the Triton t80 easi-fit and it doesn't have a pump. It relies on the mains pressure for its flow and a solenoid valve to stop/start the flow. The only water that will be in the unit will be in the heater chamber and a few good shakes should empty that out.
Won't the heater chamber be closed by default unless the On button (which can't be turned On when mains AC is disconnected) is on?
