A leader like Trump would stop the boats quickly. If we stopped all boats and sent the people back to France, what would happen? France would secure it's borders pretty quickly to stop the migrants coming in. Weak leaders and immigration policies all over Europe has caused this crisis

And yet again.
It's an issue that no government yet has controlled.
But it is not the major issue, or even the most pressing issue right now. But a few people are making you focus on that and ignore the other real problems.
A right wing Deform or Tory party are not going to just put new no entry signs up and cure it quickly. It's way more complex than just telling people not to come. And meanwhile the other problems will still be there, but the immigrants are a convenient thing to blame for our ills.
Until the ECHR is reigned in, it will continue.

But Thatcher thought it'd be better to let them all go.
Never mind complaining about Starmer letting prisoners go to free up space so our whole penal system doesn't fall apart, worry more about all the forking nutters wandering the streets with voices telling them to stick machetes in innocent people.

I was never a fan of 'care in the community' but it partly came about because of decades of complaints about 'institutions'. It was always going to be a lose lose situation.

I'm beginning to worry about the loss of the HRA, whereas I was quite gungho about it being dispensed with up until quite recently. What will it mean for us as citizens without it? I don't trust the government to have my best interests at heart, do you?
