I would to like to put some lights into our garden, to illuminate the flower beds and bushes etc.

I have bought some from Homebase, (with internal power supplies) but the transformers gave out after a short while (battle for replacemenst is ensuing), and basically I want some good lights, with either internal power supply, or to wire up an exterior junction box.

What can you all recommend?

The lights don't (can't) have to be too bright - its a small garden - about 20w or so - maybe even up to 50w

What would you suggest and where from??

have you considered the solar powered LED types? I acceptable they will save you a shed load of hassle

You may want to consider "select a light" as made by ring- sold in b & Q there are a variety of lights and you can mix and match, you get everything separate including the transformer. the brightest lamp is 10w.

But for what they are they are cheap. if you want something reliable and good you may have to try a specilaist site try google
