Dryer does not heat up. Condenser fully cleaned and new heating element put in. The timer does not count down and the fan does not switch on. The drum goes through the motions and all other aspects work. Help please. Thanks.

There are 3 different versions of that model. We need the product number (starts with a 9) to get the exact model.
I'll have a guess at yours, the control panel differs on the models.

Do you have a digital display on yours? If so, you should be getting an error displayed. If not, you'll should still have an error displayed by flashing leds on the bank of 8 leds running down the right hand side.
If it's not displaying an error then you're looking at a very complex problem involving getting into diagnostics mode on the machine.

Thank you for your posting.
There is a digital display but no error No. comes up and the LED's do not flash. When the dryer is on the correct light comes on steadily.
The model is 914601817 / 00.

Strange it doesn't give an error code.
However, you need to check it's taking in cold water when on the drying cycle. No heat or fan if the valve doesn't open
Another common problem is the drying ntc in the condenser hose.

Sorry for delay in reply, been away.
A wire had come off a sensor located in the rubber pipe from drum to condenser. I had not realised though, that the water needed to be connected in order for the dryer to work. Now, since connecting it back up, the dryer works.
Thank you very much for your help you saved my bacon.
