Anyone got any views on a free easy to use photo editing programe thats worth downloading?

I used to use http://picasa.google.com/ just to download photo's but its getting better and better, I use it for most stuff now.
for work I use Microsoftâ Photo Premium 10, its not free but not expensive.

Nope... not until page 40 or something, but by the time you get to there you'll have learnt all you need to know about GIMP.

got it straight away with no other spurrious links. Ive just had a go with it and for a technical numpty like me im quite pleased with the results. Thanks for your help chaps
